The weekend repeats every year from the Saturday before the third Monday in February through that Monday, so 2027 falls February 13–15 — the Comptroller posts the shopping FAQ a few weeks ahead.
No guessing on this one — state law pins the holiday to April 19 through April 25 every single year, so the 2027 week is already on the calendar.
Energy Star & WaterSense Virginia
August 6–8, 2027
Friday, August 6 through Sunday, August 8
State law sets the holiday for the first Friday in August through the following Sunday, and that law runs until July 1, 2030 — Virginia Tax confirms each year's exact window on its sales tax holiday page a few weeks ahead.
2027 dates aren't posted yet — both holidays run over Memorial Day weekend each year.
